On the front bottom I noticed some slight redness to the paint The door still appears to be very solid. The coolest part about the door is there is a speak easy in the center panel on the second row allowing the square to open to look out and you cannot tell from the front it is even there or that it exists. The door has what appears to be the original hardware and still seems to be in functioning order when I push down the thumb latch the locking mechanism moves in and out but I do not know enough about the hardware but it looks very nice.
